Foreign companies specialised in information technologies, one after another state their intention to strengthen and develop their business in Ukraine, the Cabinet press office reported.

The beginning of autumn was marked with abundance of large IT-companies' statements on their intention to strengthen themselves in Ukraine and to proceed with development of their business. One of the reasons for that is returning of many of them to postponed decisions on introduction of IT-systems after political battles in the country. One of IT-market world leaders - Sun Microsystems Corporation - announced that growth of its business in Ukraine totalled 192% for the last financial year just yesterday.

Representatives of different companies practically agreed in availability estimations of Ukrainian IT-market directions development. So, the greatest sells of Sun Microsystems in Ukraine fell on telecommunications sector, banking sphere and industry. Together with development of these segments on Ukrainian IT-market, there also appeared demand for one of the world's most powerful (and expensive) systems of high-end class. According to experts, these are the systems, for which demand will be growing in future. Growth of sales in more mass segment is also expected.

President and executive director of Fujitsu Siemens Computers Company, Bernt Bishof previously informed about his intention to open official representative office of the company in Kyiv this autumn already. The office will be responsible for business development in Ukraine, Moldova and Belarus Republic.

Microsoft Corporation should also be added to the list of IT-market leaders, planning their further strengthening in Ukraine. Let's recall, that Microsoft vice-president on EMEA region, Vakhe Torossian announced about company's plans to open Ukrainian representative office in Kyiv.

Judging from the statements of different companies representatives, IT-companies intend to fight the major battle for clients in two directions - cheap (more mass direction) and in perspective expensive segment. It is not ruled out that prices for mass IT-solutions will reduce a bit together with competition toughness. At that companies plan to improve servicing of clients.
