June 19, Kyiv hosts meeting of Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Tarasyuk and his Armenian counterpart Vardan Oksanyan.
The parties negotiated over the wide range of questions related to the bilateral collaboration, prospects of political dialogue development, and tendencies of bilateral commodity circulation increase, energy security of the South Caucasus region, transport cooperation and pressing issues of cultural and humanitarian spheres. The special attention was paid to the cooperation within the international organizations and consolidation of the democratic principles in the Black Sea region.
Ukrainian and Armenian Foreign Ministers agreed in views on the European integration as one of the prospect trends of development of the mutual relations. The interlocutors decided to hold interdepartmental consultations on issues related to the European integration.
The special emphasis was centered on the problem of security and stability of the South Caucasus and Nagorny Karabakh settlement.
