People’s deputy of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko says that it must be economists and not political scientists who can make economic prognoses.

“According to economists, the GDP growth in May was 7% and they predict a tendency of growth by 5%. These indices are not lower than the world ones and not the worst in the CIS. It is high time we made reforms all Ukrainians were waiting for,” the OU press office quoted Poroshenko’s statement.

Commenting on coalition talks, Petro Poroshenko said: “If we sum up the coalition events, the Socialists used to say that they did not care about posts but then they have changed their mind. The problem is that we have still not agreed on many points, the NATO and land issues in particular”.

“The Our Ukraine bloc will be the last one to leave an 'orange' coalition. The BYuT will be the first one,” Petro Poroshenko said.
