Victor Yushchenko and his wife have arrived in the Netherlands.
President Yushchenko is accompanied by Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk, Energy Minister Ivan Plachkov, Health Minister Yuriy Polyachenko, Economy Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Customs Service Head Oleksandr Yehorov, and National Bank Chairman Volodymyr Stelmakh.
Dutch Foreign Minister Bernhard Bot, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the Netherlands Oleksandr Kupchyshyn, and Dutch Ambassador to Ukraine Ronald Keller met the President at the airport of Amsterdam.
The Head of State went to Noordeinde Palace in the Hague to officially meet with Queen Beatrix.
Yushchenko will then meet with Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende at Binnenhof Palace and sign several Ukrainian-Dutch agreements.
