The National Agency on Effective Usage of Energy plans setting in operation a plant producing the synthetic gas in Klavdiyevo village, Kyiv region. The Chairman of the National Agency Evhen Suknin revealed it Friday at the press conference.
According to Sukhin, the plant must launch functioning before July of 2006. The syngas will be produced from peat, straw and sawdust. The experts assess that the capacity of the plant will make 2,400 cubic metres gas per hour. The project costs $1.6 million and be repaid in two years.
