Zhovtnevy Court of the Dnepropetrovsk city decided to detain the chairman of Dnepropetrovsk district council, Alexander Lyashchenko.
The Office of Public Prosecutor of Zhovtnevy district of Dnepropetrovsk accused Lyashchenko of forgery of voting documents and use of beforehand forged voting documents, "Interfax" reported.
Charges have been preferred according to the article 158, part 3 of Criminal Code of Ukraine. The accused was using forged documents on November 21, 2004 during the second tour of presidential elections.
