There will be no economic collapse in spite of negative expectations, Gorshenin Institute's vice president Oleksiy Leshchenko said during a round table, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to the economist, the unfavorable forecasts appear again but do not come true. "During the last two months we heard apocalyptic predictions towards our economy again, but, despite this, the country continues its existing," he said.

He added that the suspension of preparation for the Association with the European Union can have a positive impact on the domestic economy.
