The deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission Andriy Mahera warns single-mandate candidates "against attempts to influence the work of DECs, ForUm correspondent reports.
In particular, Mahera said that "Central Election Commission will respond to any attempt to influence the outcome of the will by addressing the prosecutor’s office. I hope that the DECs will work fine without the intervention of law enforcement agencies."
Meanwhile, he said that the CEC was addressed by representatives of the political parties and candidates on the problems arisen in some constituencies of Kyiv: in Holosiyivsky constituency (№ 211), Darnytsky constituency (№ 212) and Obolon constituency (№ 217)," he stressed.
"The situation in these constituencies is not very simple. Two or three candidates have about the same amount of votes in favor of them. I did not want the candidates to try to win at any cost," deputy chairman of the Central Election Commission said.
He also said that the members of the PECs do not block the transfer of documents to the OICs and OIC should work in mode of receipt of election documents from the PECs.
