Russia needs to negotiate with the European Union on joint actions on the territory of Ukraine, head of the Center for Political Studies of the Institute of Economics, professor Boris Shmelev said, ForUm correspondent reports.
"In my opinion, in the current situation that is developing in the world and in Europe, it would be appropriate for Russia to negotiate with the EU on joint actions on the territory of former Soviet Union, and particularly in Ukraine. Because confrontation will not lead to anything good," he said.
