Ukraine asks international organizations help to investigate into the events, happening in Ukraine, first deputy head of the President’s Administration Andriy Portnov said at the meeting with Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Nils Muiznieks.

"We asked namely that authoritative heads of international organizations come to help us investigate what is happening in Ukraine. Our official stance is that we are asking for help in investigating and resolving this crisis," Portnov said.

He noted that fair assessment should be given to the actions of the law enforcement authorities and protesters during large-scale rallies, Interfax-Ukraine informs.

Portnov also told Muiznieks about the negotiations between the authorities and the opposition on the search for ways to overcome the crisis.

The authorities have made concessions, in particular the government resignation, the cancellation of all the laws, which were contested by European colleagues and the Ukrainian opposition, and passing the law on amnesty, Portnov said.
