The Prosecutor General’s Office may release Oleksandr Kotenko, Oleksandr Khramtsov and Andriy Nasikovsky arrested on suspicion of assaulting journalist Tetiana Chornovil due to absence of the event of a crime, deputy Prosecutor General Roman Andreev told a briefing.
"Their actions are most likely to lack event of a crime," he said.
In turn, head of the Main Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry Mykola Chynchyn said that the case against the three suspects was set in separate criminal proceedings.
He stressed that, according to the police, three suspects were arrested and placed in custody since there was a need for this investigation.
