Extraordinary session of the Parliament next week will take place only if there is the agreed text of the bill on constitutional reform, leader of the Party of Regions faction Oleksandr Yefremov told a briefing in Parliament, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Everything depends on whether the document will be developed. If the factions are ready to vote on it in the session hall, then an unscheduled meeting of the Parliament will be held," he said.

He once again stressed that at the moment there is no agreed bill on constitutional reform from the opposition, although some documents have been sent to MPs. In addition, he said that the Party of regions fraction will provide their proposals for constitutional reform.

MP also considers it appropriate to take into account the materials of the Constitutional Assembly.

Yefremov said that if work on the reform is productive, then there is every chance to adopt the Basic Law in the new version in September 2014 as a whole, after passing all the necessary procedures, and receiving the conclusions of the Venice Commission.
