The Verkhovna Rada will not create a temporary special commission, and the leaders of parliamentary factions will develop changes to the Constitution at conciliation boards, head of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak said at the plenary session, reporting to MPs on the outcome of negotiations, ForUm correspondent reports.

He explained that three opposition factions refused to delegate their representatives to the temporary special commission and, therefore, it was decided not to create it.

"Three opposition factions did not provide their representatives, insisting on the fact they are able to prepare an agreed text ... This will be done at the conciliation boards of the leaders of all factions," he explained.

In addition, the speaker said that if the agreed text of amendments to the Constitution is prepared next week, a special plenary sitting of the Parliament will be held for consideration and approval. "Maybe it will be Tuesday or Wednesday. I do not know," Rybak said.
