A break was announced in work of the Verkhovna Rada due to inconsistency of positions on constitutional reform and creation of a temporary special commission, ForUm correspondent reports.
In particular, the representatives of three opposition factions continue to insist on the need to amend the Constitution immediately, while the majority representatives want to create a special commission to develop and adopt appropriate changes to the Constitution according to the legislation of Ukraine.
According to head of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Rybak, the deputies must strictly follow the procedure during the constitutional reform adoption. According to him, the temporary special commission should include representatives of all factions and independent MPs, experts and representatives of the President. "We need to develop quickly a bill and to consider it in the session hall. There is no other way," the speaker said.
