Massive vehicle arsons in Kyiv stopped, acting interior minister Vitaly Zakharchenko announced.

"Massive arsons stopped. The Interior Ministry set up a powerful task force to expose the culprits as quickly as possible. One of the offenders has been already detained. A citizen of Georgia is now under investigation. His accomplices have been established," press office of the Interior Ministry quoted him.

Zakharchenko believes that those, who set fire to cars, did it deliberately. "They raised degree of hatred in the society," acting interior minister said.
