Political situation should not affect business, head of the main department of the Revenue Ministry in Kyiv Iryna Nosacheva said at a meeting with representatives of the capital business, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to her, there are already appeals not to pay taxes. "But it is not necessary to involve working business in the political conflict," the official said.
On behalf of the Ministry, she thanked all citizens and entrepreneurs who faithfully pay taxes and fees.
She also added that information to strengthen the fiscal pressure on entrepreneurs is not correct at all. "On the contrary, the main task of the Revenue Ministry is to minimize communication with entrepreneurs. We focus only on those businesses and industries where there is a reasonable risk of tax evasion," Nosacheva concluded.
