In bad weather conditions, which have been observed in several regions of Ukraine, the government and communal services worked consistently, acting Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.
"Last week the Ukrainian territory was under the influence of the cyclone. It was a challenge not only for road and communal services, health and education institutions, but also for the executive authorities. Effective measures were taken that helped avoid casualties and respond quickly to the situation," the acting Prime Minister said.
He noted that schools, pre-schools and higher educations were temporarily closed in some regions in order to avoid the morbidity of children.
