Acting Prime Minister of Ukraine Serhiy Arbuzov expresses condolences to the families of those killed in the accident on a railway crossing in Sumy region. 

"The accident in Sumy region took away the lives of more than a dozen people. On behalf of the Government and myself, I express deep sympathy to the families of the killed and the injured," he said, opening the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

Arbuzov also gave instructions to acting Vice Prime Minister Oleksandr Vilkul.

In particular, he demanded to monitor the progress of liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Donetsk railway, resulted in the inflammation of gas tanks, as well as to clarify the circumstances of the tragedy in Sumy region, to provide the necessary assistance to victims and families of the deceased.

"Take steps to prevent emergencies in rail transport in the future," Arbuzov summed up.
