Chairman of the Kyiv City State Administration Volodymyr Makeyenko promised to discuss the issue of Kyiv mayor and city council members elections through negotiations with all the political forces.
"Situation can be stabilized only through negotiations. I would like to agree this issue with all political forces, including the issue of date ... I think may be held in fall," he told a briefing, ForUm correspondent reports.
Makeyenko also stressed that the issue of the appointment of election date is to be taken in the Parliament, but he will defend that date, "required by Kyiv community".
In addition, he did not rule out that he would run for the mayor.
