The issue on imposition of a state of emergency in Ukraine is not considered, head of the Parliament Volodymyr Rybak said at a meeting with the heads of diplomatic missions of the European Union, the press service of the Parliament reports.
"In spite of rumors irresponsible and unfair media reports on plans to introduce a state of emergency in Ukraine, the possibility of such scenario is not considered either in Parliament or other institutions of state power," Rybak said.
He noted that given the systemic nature of causes and current political crisis, the Verkhovna Rada has already adopted a decision to start resolving the crisis situation for a long term.
"I mean the decision of the extraordinary session of Parliament to begin the process on improvement of the constitutional structure of the Ukrainian society," Rybak explained.
