Acting foreign minister of Ukraine Leonid Kozhara is indignant at discussion of the situation in the country by foreign states without participation of the Ukrainian party.
"Ukraine occupies an extremely important geopolitical position in Europe, and it is clear that other countries are very interested in Ukraine. It is frustrating when Ukrainian issues are discussed without the participation of Ukrainians. The situation today is extremely sharp, and all are interested in this issue, but when the situation itself, and ways of settlement are discussed without our participation, it is wrong," the official said.
However, Kozhara refused to specify which countries he talks about.
In addition, the Foreign Ministry promises adequate and severe reaction in case of claims of other countries on the territory of Ukraine.
"I would like to say that there are no official statements ... If such statements are pronounced at the official level, then surely we will give proper and tough assessment," Kozhara said commenting on materials of Romanian and Turkish media in which journalists expressed the view that the authorities of their countries should claim a number of Ukrainian territories.
