Law enforcers, who exceeded authority during mass actions, won’t be amnestied under the law, passed in the Verkhovna Rada on January 29, justice minister of Ukraine Olena Lukash said during a meeting with foreign ambassadors.
Answering the question of Swedish Ambassador Andreas von Beckerath whether law enforcers will be held liable for the illegal actions against protesters, Lukash said: "If I understand you correctly, you're asking whether people, who abused power, will be amnestied. No, they won’t be amnestied. The law, passed yesterday, has no such provision".
