As of today, 234 people were detained during protests in Ukraine. 140 of them were arrested, the Prosecutor General’s Office informs.
This has resulted in disruption of public order, riots, use of weapons, seizure of government bodies, attempts to create parallel pseudo -government.
Thus, according to the investigation, four people were killed, including -employees of the Interior Ministry. More than 500 people were injured, among them - 253 law enforcement officers. As of today, 234 people were detained, 140 - arrested.
In addition, there have been numerous violations of the Constitution and laws of Ukraine on the part of local authorities. Their unlawful decisions now are being challenged in courts.
In search of a political compromise, MPs passed the Law of Ukraine "On elimination of negative impacts and prevent prosecution and punishment of persons in connection with the events that took place during the peaceful assemblies".
Implementation of its provisions equally depends on the organizers and participants in the riots, law enforcement and judicial authorities.
