
Chief of the Kyiv City State Administration Volodymyr Makeyenko promised not to use force against protesters in Kyiv, regardless of their political views.
"All citizens of Ukraine have the right to express their opinion. No sudden actions and force methods will be applied against the protesters of both camps. If I find out about these scenarios, then I’ll personally come outside to prevent the tragedy," Makeyenko promised, ForUm correspondent reports from Parliament.
He also stressed that he plans to enter the administration building in 2-3 days.
"I'm in talks with the opposition. I want to enter the building of the KCSA after the historic vote on the amnesty bill. I have already written a letter of resignation of parliamentary powers. There are technical issues, but after 2-3 days we'll meet you in the KCSA hall," Makeyenko said.
