Russia does not intend to review the decision on allocation of credit and gas prices due to the resignation of Prime Minister Mykola Azarov, Russian President Vladimir Putin told journalists after the "EU-Russia" Summit.

"We won’t revise our loan and energy agreements if the opposition comes to power. We had very constructive dialogue with the Government of Ukraine, when it was led by Mrs. Tymoshenko," he said.

According to Putin, Russia has no taboo on negotiations with representatives of any political forces in Ukraine.

However, he stressed that it is crucial that the Ukrainian economy is creditworthy, and structural changes are made  so that Russia would get its loans back.
