State Emergency Service denies heavy rescue equipment arrival in Kyiv

The State Emergency Service denies that heavy rescue equipment arrives in Kyiv from the regions, deputy Service chief Anatoly Boiko told a briefing.

"Not a single piece of equipment has come to Kyiv from the regions," he said, commenting on the information that heavy equipment has arrived in Kyiv to disperse EuroMaidan.

 

Boiko noted that this information is untrue, as virtually all technique, available in Emergency Service, eliminate consequences of adverse weather conditions in the regions.

 

He noted that the Kyiv department of the State Emergency Service was indeed transferred to enhanced mode of work, but it is associated with complications of weather conditions and with the number of fires.
