In 2013, State Air Traffic Service Enterprise of Ukraine (USATSE) ensured air navigation services for 534,600 flights, which is up 6.8% YOY, the Information-Analytical Bulletin of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine informs.

Thus, in 2013, the enterprise supported 99,800 flights of domestic companies and 434,800 flights of foreign airlines. The most of departures and landings made in 2013 by Ukrainian and foreign airlines were supported by USATSE at airport Borispol (81,270), Kyiv (40,368), Donetsk (18,755), and Odessa (15,050).

Major scopes of air navigation services were provided by USATSE to Ukraine International Airlines (41,184 flights), Aeroflot (28,903), Turkish Airlines (23,701), Emirates (20,406), Transaero (20,147), Qatar Airways (18,303), Lufthansa (17,205), UTair-Ukraine (13,866), and British Airways (12,513).

According to experts at Ministry of Infrastructure, USATSE activities may be an example of successful state-owned enterprise on the aviation market of Ukraine, as evidenced by steady growth of air navigation services. If in 1993 (first year of activity), the enterprise supported 121,500 flights, at year end of 2013, this figure was nearly quadrupled, to reach 534,600 flights.

Given a stable long-term growth and dynamic development of USATSE, the Cabinet approved a financial plan of the enterprise for 2014 in the amount of 2.742.8 million UAH, which is by 6.2% more than target of 2013. The profit will reach 146.7 million UAH, which is up 5% YOY. The financial plan of USATSE for 2014 is based on business plan for 2013-2017, which was first developed in close long-term interaction with Directorate Single Sky (DSS) regarding the standards and requirements for these documents by European aviation community.
