Parliament’s extraordinary session may be held next week

Verkhovna Rada сhairman Volodymyr Rybak is ready to sign a decree on holding the Parliament’s extraordinary session next week. He said this during a meeting with President Viktor Yanukovych, the President’s press office informs.

"I think that I will sign such an order today, and at the beginning of the week we will invite deputies to consider all the issues," Rybak said.

"There are many issues that must be resolved not on the Maidan, but in the session hall. Indeed, the opposition and the majority must gather and consider all the questions: the resignation of the government, and questions about the adopted laws," the speaker said.

Rybak added that the majority and the opposition should listen to each other, but "first, the issue of peace in our country should be addressed".
