The government did not give law enforcement officers any additional instructions on the use of force against violent protesters, Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov said in an interview with BBC channel in Switzerland, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
The Prime Minister stressed that the law enforcers now follow the instructions that provide the minimum use of force against only those protesters who are violent, attack law enforcement officers and commit riots.
Azarov also said that the force was not used against peaceful protesters and will not be used.
