Regional budgets for 2014 should be passed, taking into account economic characteristics of each region, President Viktor Yanukovych said at the meeting with Prime Minister Mykola Azarov and First Deputy Prime Minister Serhiy Arbuzov.
According to the President, regional budgets should be aimed at socio-economic development and infrastructure development. "We all know these features - the structure of the economy and priorities in each region," Yanukovych said.
The President stressed that Ukraine needs efficient economy.
He noted that in the near future a meeting with a wide range of experts on this issue will be held.
