Ukraine intends to balance trade with China

Agreements in the economic sphere that were reached during the visit of President Viktor Yanukovych to China will promote the balance of trade between countries, economic development and trade minister of Ukraine Ihor Prasolov said in interview with the BTB channel.

"We are well aware that the Chinese market is very big and very important for Ukraine. Our country reached agreements in high-tech industry, including aircraft engineering, chemicals, energy, as these spheres are important for our economy," the minister said.

He is confident that the implementation of agreements in these areas will balance trade between countries, reducing the negative trade balance for Ukraine. 

"We will move towards further development of economic cooperation with China," the minister said.
