Propaganda of fascism in any form should not be in Ukraine, as the Ukrainian people have nothing to do with fascist ideology, head of the Ukrainian Analytical Center Oleksandr Okhrymenko said, commenting on Parliament’s introduction of criminal responsibility for the promotion of fascism.
"All EU countries have similar laws, where the propaganda of fascism and extremism is a crime. Although, conflicts arise in the EU from time to time, when some parties try to revive the idea of fascism and thereby provoke retaliatory actions," he said.
The specialist reminded that in 1946 the United Nations adopted a resolution, which condemned any justification of fascism and Nazism, and the promotion of these ideas was recognized as a crime.
