The State Service for Emergency Situations of Ukraine does not consider the events in Hrushevsky Street in Kyiv, where on Sunday clashes broke out between activists and police, as an emergency situation, head of the department for emergency response of the State Emergency Service Vasyl Snitsar declared, ForUm correspondent reports. 

"Violations of public order in the Hrushevsky Street are not classified as an emergency situation," he said. 

He noted that staff of the State Emergency Service participated in the fire suppression in the Hrushevsky Street that helped prevent the spread of fire.
