In the near future the agricultural ministers of Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Ukraine will hold a four-party meeting to discuss issues of deepening bilateral trade. This was decided at a meeting between deputy agrarian policy and food minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Sen and the state secretary of the Agriculture Ministry of the Republic of Latvia Mrs. Dace Lutsaua at the exhibition "Green Week" in Berlin.

"Ukraine has a great potential to increase its presence in the Latvian market. The country has wide representation of distillery industry products, and we would like to expand our range. Therefore, we can significantly increase turnover. In general, the European market is very interesting for us. Therefore, we will move towards the European integration course, taking into account all the benefits and risks for the economy," Sen said.

In turn, Lutsaua confirmed readiness to deepen trade relations with the Ukrainian state. In particular, it is proposed to hold a meeting among ministers of Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia to discuss such prospects for partnership.
