
Ukraine will have little snow at the end of January and February, head of the department for climate research and long-term weather forecasts of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Institute Vazira Martazinova told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
According to her, the first cold snap will begin in Ukraine on the Epiphany Day. "We expect 15° below zero at the end of January and February," the forecaster said.
According to Martazinova, the cold is coming to Ukraine from America, and further cold snap should be also expected in the second half of February.
At the same time, she stressed that the temperature decrease will not be accompanied by heavy snowfalls.
