Premier Mykola Azarov has thanked participants of the rally, being held in Mariinski park in support of parliamentarians, who adopted the state budget for 2014, a ForUm's correspondent reports.

"Accept my heartiest gratitude for coming here and supporting our deputies in this difficult situation. Our MPs have held out against pressure and threats and managed to adopt the state budget. We have difficult times now, but I promise that the year of 2014 will be better, and together with the President we will do everything in our power to overcome the crisis this year," the PM said.

According to the Premier, Ukraine has improved relations with Russia and managed to get cheaper gas. "Our primary task is to launch the production sector, as it is the main source of jobs and salaries," Azarov said.

"Ukraine should not be split. We've adopted the budget for the whole country. We do not divide Ukraine into north and south, east and west. For us Ukraine is whole," the Premier summed up.

As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the law on state budget for 2014 without discussion.
