Opposition journalist Georgiy Gongadze, murdered 14 years ago, will be buried this year, wife of the deceased, Miroslava Gongadze, told the Ukrainian "Today" daily.
"Yes, funeral is planned. We’ll inform later of the date and the place," she said.
Gongadze also denied information that thedody will be buried at Baykove cemetery.
For all 14 years, Gongadze’s body remnants have been lying in one of the capital's morgues.
Mother of journalist Georgy Gongadze, Lesya, who died 30 November 2013, requested the State to bury the remnants, which were considered to be the body of her son, as unidentified body.
