Ukraine is in talks with China on the construction of two oil refineries, energy and coal industry minister of Ukraine Eduard Stavysky told journalists, ForUm correspondent reports.
"We are negotiating. Now two sites are considered: in Kherson and Odesa regions. We are in talks with the owner of the former refinery in Kherson region, on the basis of which construction may be carried out. Construction in Odesa region will be done on the new site," he said.
The estimated amount of investment in these projects, according to Stavytsky, is about 1.5 - 2 billion dollars.
