The Party of Regions faction leader Oleksandr Yefremov expects the state budget 2014 to be adopted in the session hall on January 16.

"The draft budget will be considered in the session hall, though I do not expect all factions to vote for it. For political reasons the opposition will not vote for this budget, it is obvious," he told a briefing after the coordination board sitting, a ForUm's correspondent reports.

According to Yefremov, about three thousand amendments to current draft budget have already been submitted, and the sum of state expenditures, provided by the amendments, exceeds the very principle of the budget. "The budget itself makes about 150 billion hryvnias, but amendments to it make UAH 750 billion. To balance the budget does not seem possible," Yefremov specified.

At the same time, the MP rules out that the state budget will be adopted following the cut procedure and adds that if there is no possibility to consider the budget in the session hall, the majority will find a way to adopt it anyway.
