Trust of parents in preschool education has grown substantially, as well as the number of children in kindergartens, science and education minister of Ukraine Dmytro Tabachnyk told a press conference, ForUm correspondent reports.
"The trust of parents in preschool education has grown substantially. If at the beginning of ХХI century children from less than 50% of families went to kindergartens, then at the beginning of 2013 - from 81.5%of families. This is one of the best and the highest rates among the European countries," he said.
In addition, according to the minister, for the past three years more that 230 thousand new places in kindergartens were created, and 50 thousand - in 2013.
