Odesa airport has been closed since Thursday evening due to heavy fog, the airport press office says.

According to the online schedule of the airport, flights from Kyiv and Moscow scheduled for January 9 have been postponed to the first half of January 10. Three flights from Istanbul, Moscow and Kyiv were cancelled. About a dozen flights were rescheduled for a later date, Interfax-Ukraine informed.

The airport plans to resume accepting aircraft after 1230 on January 10.

As reported, during a few last weeks flights to and from Odesa airport have regularly been disrupted by heavy fog.
