The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to restrict business trips abroad of officials at state expense, the corresponding resolution was published on the governmental portal.

The document amends the measures on economical and efficient use of state funds provided for the maintenance of state authorities and other public bodies, enterprises, institutions and organizations, formed in the established order by public authorities, who use the state budget funds.

Thus, before January 1, 2015, the government has decided to stop official trips abroad, except for long-term business trips of diplomatic workers and trips of delegations and persons determined by acts of the President of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, as well as the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine's Prime Minister, General Prosecutor of Ukraine, head of the Presidential Administration, foreign minister, internal minister, SBU chairman and chairman of the Foreign Intelligence Service, which are carried out within the expenses provided in the estimates and are caused by vital need.

The Cabinet also instructed to ensure the minimization of the costs for business trips by optimizing the number of members of delegations and the duration of their stay abroad.
