PM gives month to eliminate barriers to activate economy

In 2014, Ukraine should launch a program on economic activation at full capacity, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said, opening session of the Cabinet of Ministers, ForUm correspondent reports.

"Enhancing economic development program must operate in Ukraine. This is a categorical demand of the President. This is a chance to have competitive industry and agricultural sector in 5-10 years," Azarov said.

"The main thing is to concentrate all possible financial resources on successful projects, first of all, we are talking about modernization of industry and production. I demand to eliminate reasons for deceleration of investments in businesses and industries within the program on economic development activation during one month," he said.
