Since January 1, Zhytomyr residents got around-the-clock water supply for the first time for 18 years.

According to Zhytomyr mayor Volodymyr Deboi, "the move will reduce the water networks accident rate. And the most important thing, it is an opportunity for a third of the city to live comfortably," Deboi said.

Since 1995, about 95 thousand inhabitants lived without around-the-clock water supply, getting it hourly – according to schedule.
