President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych congratulated President of the Republic of Sudan Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir on the national holiday - Independence Day, the President’s press office reports.
"I am confident that intensification of mutually beneficial bilateral cooperation is in interests of the peoples of both countries. Taking this opportunity, I wish you, Mr. President, good health and success in your responsible state activities. I wish people of the Republic of Sudan peace, happiness and prosperity," the congratulations read.
