Russian entry requirements amended
Ukrainian citizens may stay in Russia without migration registration within 90 days, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine informs.

The Foreign Ministry reminds that the federal law of the Russian Federation "On Amending Article 27 of the Federal Law "On the Procedure for Exit from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation" came into force on 1 January  2014.

The mentioned federal law stipulates that the period of temporary stay in Russia for foreign nationals, who arrived in the Russian Federation in a manner not requiring visa (including citizens of Ukraine), may not exceed 90 days in total for each period within 180 days, except as provided by federal law, and if such period is extended in accordance with federal law. If a foreigner during his previous stay in Russia exceeded the term of 90 days in total for each period within 180 days, he will be denied entry to the Russian Federation for a period of 3 years from the date of departure from Russia.

In this regard, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry draws attention of Ukrainian citizens, who are planning their trips abroad and will stay in Russia, to the need for compliance with the laws of the Russian Federation.
