During New Year holidays, the State Border Service of Ukraine goes into enhanced mode of work, aide to chief of the State Border Service of Ukraine Serhiy Astakhov told ForUm correspondent.
"This is a common practice. On the eve of all public and religious holidays, the State Border Service guards the state border in emergency mode," Astakhov said.
According to him, the agency will work in emergency mode until head of State Border Service gives further orders.
