Prime Minister of Ukraine, сhairman of the Party of Regions Mykola Azarov believes that 2014 will be a year of continuing positive developments in life of the country and of each of its residents. This is said in his congratulatory message to party members and fellow citizens on occasion of New Year holidays.

Azarov noted that Ukraine continues developing good-neighborly and mutually beneficial relations with the CIS countries and the European Union, defending its national interests.

"Historic agreement on lowering the Russian gas price and on full resumption of trade and economic relations and industrial cooperation with the Russian Federation open new opportunities for the development of the state economy, allow to confidently plan future development of the country and improve social standards," he stressed.

Prime Minister assured that Ukraine’s course towards European integration also remains unchanged. "We have received reliable leverages to stabilize the financial and economic situation in the country, to continue modernizing our economy and, finally, to create a free trade area with the European Union, at the same time having a free trade zone with CIS," the head of the government summed up.
