As part of the investigation into the beating of Tetiana Chornovil, any information is checked, including information from the media and public sources, the press service of the Interior Ministry reports.
"The investigators analyzed the speech of former director of the TVi TV channel Kostiantyn Kahalovsky, in which he noted that a raider attack on this TV channel involved a person related to the case on beating of Tetiana Chornovil. Kahalovsky also noted that MPs Mykola Kniazhytsky and David Zhvania were related to the activities of the suspect," the statement said.
The Interior Ministry stressed that the deputies were called in for questioning to the main investigation department in order to clarify the information provided by Kahalovsky, in particular, their involvement in a criminal offense.
