Prime Minister Mykola Azarov says that the greatest problems and unrealized potential have accumulated in Ukrainian industry. 

"The greatest problems and unrealized potential we have in the industry. Decline in industrial production in January - November of this year amounted to about 5 %," Azarov said at the Cabinet’s meeting, ForUm correspondent reports.

According to the Prime Minister, the basic industries demonstrated negative dynamics: processing industry had a decline in production of 8%, metallurgy - 6%, chemical industry - 18.5 %.

"This situation is aggravated by deterioration of equipment. Level of deterioration of means of Ukrainian industrial production is 65%. The highest degree of wear has non-ferrous metallurgy - 75%, engineering - 71.4 %, chemical and petrochemical industry - 71 %," PM said.
